Awkwafina
Awkwafina is an American performer and actor who made her name with innovative raps which addressed sexuality and racial identities with the most comical of perspectives. Then she branched out into Hollywood. Nora Lum, born in Forest Hills Queens to Chinese and Korean immigrants was her first music experience. She performed on the trumpet. After a classical and jazz education She delved into hip-hop as a teen. In the college years, she remained focused on her studies, and then studied women's studies as well as journalism. While she was for a brief amount of time, in Beijing, Mandarin language classes were also offered. After graduating, she began to concentrate on music. The song My Vag which was her reaction to Mickey Avalon's My Dick, became a huge hit on the Internet and eventually appeared on her debut album Yellow Ranger. The album also contained also were viral songs like Queef (body-positive) as well as NYC Bitche$. This song is directly connected to Awkwafina's NYC, a 2015 travel guide. She decided to pursue a career as an actor following the completion of her previous two endeavors, author and musician. Along with early series like Girl Code, Tawk and Bad Rap she also appeared in films like Neighbors to Storks. In the year 2018, her breakout role was in Dude Ocean's 8 and Crazy Rich Asians. In June, she released her first film In Fina We Trust.
