Country-pop and actor song writer Jana Kramer rose to fame on television where she joined the crew on One Tree Hill as Alex during its last three seasons. The first two albums she made as a country singer appeared on the episodes of the show that helped her 2012 eponymous debut album in the top 20 in the Billboard 200. Thirty One from 2015 reached the top ten spot. The last decade saw she appeared in Dancing with the Stars as well in TV movies and several TV shows. The singer also released a few singles that weren't albums. Voices, a self-doubting album was released in 2021. Jana Rae Kramer is a Michigan native who was raised on country music. Though she had a recording and acting career but her first screen appearance was in the horror independent film Dead/Undead (2002) when she was still in high school. Guest spots in shows like All My Children and CSI: NY followed over the next few years until she landed the part as Noelle Davenport on NBC's Friday Night Lights during the show's second season from 2007 to 2008. Kramer appeared on 90210 in 2008-2009 as Portia as well as Brooke Manning before joining One Tree Hill on the CW in 2009, where she played the role of Alex Dupre. The Top Five Country Hit I Got the Boy, and The duet Steven Tyler and Aerosmith performed with helped it to reach third place at the top of the Billboard 200 and number 10 on the chart for country albums. After a two-month stint on 23rd Dancing with the Stars season her final score was in fourth place. The same year she was also a part of an adult-oriented hit song with the song "Feels Like" Christmas which featured Straight No Chaser.
