Sharon Yvonne Stone born 10th March, 1958 to Dorothy Lawson, a accountant, and Joseph William Stone 2nd, an ex-tool and die operator and factory worker. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are her three siblings. Stone started second grade when she was just five. She was considered to be gifted in the academic area. In 1975 she was a graduate of Saegertown high school located in Saegertown (Pennsylvania). In 1975, the Miss Pennsylvania beauty competition saw Stone take home Miss Crawford County. Stone was able to move together with her aunt from New Jersey, where she began a modeling career. The following month, Stone signed up at the Ford Modeling Agency. After spending a year between Milan and Paris and then moving to Europe. But, Stone became disillusioned with modeling and fashion and modeling in Europe which led her to pursue acting while living there. She appeared at 20 in Woody Allen's "Stardust Memories," the film which got mixed receptions.
